Wake Forest Head Coach Danny Manning
Opening Statement:
"Queens is a very talented team and their rankings, without question, are justified. They're scrappy, they compete and they shoot the ball. It was a tough matchup for us as they go small and that negated our bigs. Their guards did a really good job of creating for one another."

On the final minutes...
"We put some guys in situations that we needed to have them work on. We have to handle it better. I think we played too many guards to have 20 turnovers, especially when we have those four guards out there. We shouldn't have to worry about a press offense. Those guys know what to do. They've been in enough big games with enough big minutes, so for us, that's disappointing. We've got to get better, no question about it. We've got to get better."

On Doral Moore sitting out in the final minutes...
"At that point, the biggest guy they had on the court was number 33, Todd Whithers, and he's one of their best 3-point shooters, so we didn't feel like that was a favorable matchup for Doral. We didn't feel that was fair to him, but I do think Terrence Thompson gave us good minutes. He rebounded the ball well. He did some really big things for us as a big guy. Olivier Sarr got his feet wet today. He's the young man that we're going to need down the stretch to give us more. Across the board, there are a bunch of things for us that we need to get better at, but I'm not going to take anything away from Queens because they came out and they competed."

On tonight's defensive performance...
"We got up 17 at one point and we have a turnover and a couple breakdowns defensively and then it's under 10. We have to make sure in those situations that we handle the moment better. We'll work on that. We'll continue to work on situations and things of that nature."
