Information Wake Forest Game Notes

DEACS OPEN TRIANGLE ROAD TRIP AT DUKE
• Wake Forest looks for its first ACC road win of the season as it visits Duke
• The Deacs are looking for their first road win over a ranked foe since an 82-69 victory at No. 24 North Carolina in 2009-10

SERIES HISTORY
• Duke leads 169-78 (Duke leads 71-17 in Durham, 61-16 at Cameron Indoor Stadium)
• The Blue Devils have won the last six meetings, including both games last year (85-83 in Winston-Salem, 99-94 in Durham)
• Wake Forest's last win was an 82-72 win over No. 4 Duke in 2013-14 in Winston-Salem
• The Deacs have lost 17 straight at Cameron Indoor Stadium, with their last win being an 81-69 victory in 1996-97 as Tim Duncan had 26 points and 14 rebounds

CHALLENGING SCHEDULE AHEAD
• Today's game begins a stretch of six-of-eight games against currently ranked foes (with the other two contests at NC State and at Louisville)
• Wake Forest is 0-2 this year against ranked opponents (Tennessee, at North Carolina)

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest suffered an 83-75 loss to Virginia Tech Wednesday night at the LJVM Coliseum
• The Deacs, who trailed by 15 at halftime and by 17 in the second half, closed to within four points in the final minutes
Brandon Childress tied a career-high with 17 points, all scored in the second half
Doral Moore (12 points, 13 rebounds) had his fourth double-double of the year
• The Deacs were 4-7 from the FT line, their fewest FT attempts in a game since 2014-15

ON THE GLASS
• Wake Forest has been +30 on the boards over the last three games (+9 vs. Syracuse, +11 at Boston College, +10 vs. Virginia Tech)
• The last time the Deacs were at least a +9 on the glass in three consecutive ACC games was a five-game stretch during the 2008-09 season
• What makes the accomplishment even more impressive was the competition, as Syracuse, Boston College and Virginia Tech are all in the top half of rebounding in the conference

DEACS FROM DEEP
• Wake Forest ranks second in the ACC in 3-point percentage at 39.5
• Last year the Deacs shot 38.5 percent as they made a school-record 268 triples
• The Deacs have made at least nine 3-pointers in all four ACC games this season
Mitchell Wilbekin would rank 3rd in the conference at 45.6 percent from deep, but is one 3FG made shy of the minimum 2 3FGM/game
• Seven different Deacs have made multiple 3-pointers in a game this season (only six Deacs accomplished the feat last season)

UP NEXT
• The Deacs conclude back-to-back games in the Triangle with a visit to NC State on Thursday
• Wake Forest swept both games against the Wolfpack last season
• The game tips at 8 p.m. and airs on ACC Network affiliates
