WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 7/6-ranked Wake Forest will look to bounce back from Saturday's loss as the Demon Deacons travel to Miami on Wednesday. The game, which will tip-off at 7:30 p.m., will be broadcast by ESPN2. The contest will also be available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

The Demon Deacons (17-2, 4-2 ACC) are coming off a heartbreaking 76-74 loss at Georgia Tech last Saturday in Atlanta. Wake Forest led, 74-70, with under two minutes to play, but the Yellow Jackets scored the final six points of the game for the win. Iman Shumpert hit the game-winning bucket with one second remaining.

Atlanta-area native Al-Farouq Aminu had a standout performance in the return to his hometown. Aminu posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, both of which were team-highs. Al-Farouq matched up against his older brother Alade, a senior for Georgia Tech, in just the second-ever meeting of brothers in the ACC.

Miami comes in at 14-7 overall and 3-5 in the ACC. The Hurricanes, who are coming off a 73-68 loss at Maryland on Saturday, have lost three straight and four of their past five games since Jan. 17.

Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Miami, 7-1. The Deacons have won three straight in the series, including a 70-68 defeat of the Hurricanes last season in Winston-Salem.

Quickie Notes
- Wake Forest is averaging 42.5 rebounds per game, which is the Deacons' highest average since 1968-69 (46.7). Wake has also posted the highest scoring margin in school history at +15.8 and its highest field goal percentage since 1983-84.
- On Monday, Al-Farouq Aminu was named the ACC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.
