WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 7/6-ranked Wake Forest returns home to host Boston College in a re-match between the Demon Deacons and the Eagles on Sunday afternoon. The game, which will tip-off at 4 p.m., will be broadcast by Raycom. The contest will also be available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

The Demon Deacons (17-3, 4-3 ACC) are coming off a 79-52 setback at Miami on Wednesday. The Hurricanes broke open a close game by outscoring the Deacons 25-8 to start the second half.

Jeff Teague led the Deacs with 19 points and three steals. James Johnson scored 11 points and pulled down seven boards. Ishmael Smith dished out a team-best three assists off the bench.

David Weaver made his first start of the season and the third of his career, as Wake used just its second different starting lineup of the year.

Boston College comes to town at 18-6 overall and 6-3 in the ACC. The Eagles have won five straight games after picking up an 80-70 defeat of Virginia on Wednesday in Charlottesville.

Wake Forest won its first meeting with Boston College this season, taking down the Eagles 83-63 on Jan. 14 in Chestnut Hill. The win was Wake Forest's first-ever defeat of BC. The Eagles have gone 5-1 since the Deacons defeated them in January.

Quickie Notes
- Junior guard Ishmael Smith is 13 assists shy of 400 for his career. Smith currently ranks eighth on the school's career list, eight behind Chris Paul for seventh. Smith is on pace to become the first Deacon since Randolph Childress to join the 400-assist club.
- Senior guard Harvey Hale ranks ninth all-time at Wake Forest with 126 three-point field goals. Hale is one three-pointer behind Steven Goolsby (1995-98) for eighth place on the list.
