Wake Forest Returns to the Court at NC State
Wake Forest is looking for a season sweep of rival NC State when the Demon Deacons return from a week-long break to play at the Wolfpack on Tuesday evening in Raleigh.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at PNC Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU's Super Tuesday and on WatchESPN. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off an 83-63 loss to No. 11-ranked Duke last Tuesday in Durham. The Demon Deacons were idle this past weekend.
The Deacons, playing without leading scorer Codi Miller-McIntyre who sat out with an ankle injury, built a five-point lead midway through the first half, but the Blue Devils used an 18-1 run late in the period to take control.
Arnaud William Adala Moto, who made his first start of the year, posted his second double-double with 10 points and a team-best 10 rebounds.
Devin Thomas paced the Deacons with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting to go with three assists. Miles Overton scored a career-high 12 points on the night, eight of which came in the second half.
Madison Jones played a full 40 minutes, finishing with nine points, three assists, three steals and just two turnovers.

Wake Forest Storylines
Wake Forest was idle last weekend, giving the Deacons a full week of rest and preparation. Over the past six seasons, the Deacons have won five of their six games coming off a "bye" during the ACC season. This includes an upset of No. 2-ranked Miami last year.
Coron Williams committed his first turnover in an ACC game last week at Duke. Williams went nine games and 221 minutes without committing a single turnover in conference play. He has just seven total on the year.
Wake Forest leads the ACC in free throw rate (49.9) and is averaging 27 free throw attempts per game. The Deacons are scoring almost 18 points per game at the line on the season.
Madison Jones became the first Deacon in three seasons to play a full 40-minute game when he accomplished the feat last week at Duke.
NC State leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 137-101. In its 239th all-time meeting, the series is the second-most frequent matchup in the ACC trailing only the Wake Forest-Duke series.
Wake Forest is 19-6 against NC State at the LJVM Coliseum, including wins over the Wolfpack each of the past two seasons. The Deacons have taken seven of the last 10 at the venue after they won 70-69 on Codi Miller-McIntyre's last-second layup in mid-January.
Wake Forest and NC State have played at least twice a season every year since 1915-16. The Deacons and Wolfpack have remained annual rivals with the recent ACC expansion.
Wake Forest will return home to the LJVM Coliseum on Saturday, Feb. 15, when the Deacons host Florida State at 8 p.m. The teams will meet just once this season after splitting a home-and-home series a year ago.
The Deacons will hit the road for another pair of games, playing at Maryland on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and at North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 22.
