DEACS LOOK FOR SEASON SWEEP OF THE ORANGE
• Wake Forest looks for a season sweep of Syracuse as it visits the Carrier Dome
• The Deacs swept two of their four season series last year (Boston College, NC State)

SERIES HISTORY
• Syracuse leads 5-1 (Syracuse leads 2-0 at the Carrier Dome)
• The Deacs won the first meeting of the season, 73-67, last month in Winston-Salem as Bryant Crawford led the way with 19 points
• The Orange won last year’s meeting in the Carrier Dome, 81-76

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest fell to No. 25 Miami, 87-81, on Wednesday in Coral Gables
• The Deacs trailed by 13 points with under three minutes to play before a late rally got them within three points in the final minute
Bryant Crawford had 23 points, his sixth 20-point game of the season and the 22nd of his career
Chaundee Brown scored 20 points, his 3rd 20-point game in ACC play, all on the road

CHALLENGING ACC SCHEDULE
• Wake Forest’s strength of schedule this season ranks 9th overall nationally in KenPom and 6th overall nationally in ESPN’s BPI
• Those numbers are due to a challenging ACC schedule as the Deacs’ non-conference schedule is No. 198 in KenPom and No. 221 in the BPI
• Wake Forest’s first 12 ACC opponents have a combined ACC record of 83-54 (.606), while the Deacs’ last six ACC opponents have a combined ACC record of 23-44 (.343)

IT COMES DOWN TO SHOOTING
• One of the keys to success for the Deacs this year has been strong field goal shooting
• Wake Forest is 8-2 this season when shooting a higher FG% than its opponent and 0-12 when shooting a lower percentage (1-1 when even)
• The Deacs are shooting 50.8 percent from the floor in their nine wins and 41.1 percent from the floor in their 14 losses
• Last season, Wake Forest was 17-0 when shooting a higher FG% and 2-14 when shooting a lower FG%

THE PASSING GAME
• In the 73-67 win over Syracuse, Wake Forest had 20 assists on 25 made baskets, marking just the second time in the past 20 seasons the Deacs had reached the 80% assist mark
Mitchell Wilbekin led the team with a career-high eight assists against the Orange
• The highest assist percentage in the past 20 years was 81.5% (22 of 27) at Boston College last season

UP NEXT
• The Deacs return home to host Georgia Tech on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m.
• It is the first of two meetings between the teams as Wake Forest ends the regular season on Mar. 3 in Atlanta
