WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will wear specially-made uniforms for its game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, Feb. 16, in support of cancer awareness and to raise money for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Fund.

The Demon Deacons will wear white uniforms with pink lettering and numbers, as well as specially-made pink and gray CP3 Nike shoes.

Wake Forest will auction off its pre-game shooting shirts, five pairs of its white and pink game shorts and two pairs of CP3 shoes autographed by Chris Paul.

All money raised at the event will go to the Brian Piccolo Cancer Fund, which was established by Wake Forest students in 1980 in memory of the WFU alum who died of cancer in 1970 at the age of 27. The Piccolo Fund is donated directly to the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

During the game, Wake Forest will recognize the student group who raised the most money for this year's Brian Piccolo Cancer Fund Drive. The students will also present a check to WFU President Dr. Nathan Hatch and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center CEO Dr. John McConnell.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at WakeForestSports.com or by calling the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-3322. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive black and pink pom-poms.
