WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's C.J. Harris has been named the ACC Player of the Week. The senior guard scored 23 points to lead Wake Forest to an 80-65 upset of No. 2-ranked Miami on Saturday in the Demon Deacons' only action last week.

Harris turned in his fifth 20-point performance of the season and the second in the past three games. Harris was 7-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-5 from 3-point range.

The Winston-Salem, N.C. native hit all five of his 3-pointers in the first half, scoring 15 points in the period, as Wake Forest built a 19-point advantage. His fast break dunk with 11:37 left in the game sparked a decisive 12-0 Deacon run that turned a five-point lead into 17.

Harris is the first player to have a perfect 3-point shooting game with five or more attempts in ACC competition since Terrell Bell of Virginia Tech went 5-of-5 vs. Maryland on Feb. 15, 2011.

This marks Harris' first-ever ACC Player of the Week award. It is his first weekly conference honor since being named ACC Rookie of the Week four times in 2010.

Harris is the first Deacon to be named ACC Player of the Week since Ishmael Smith and Al-Farouq Aminu in the 2009-2010 season.

Duke's Rasheed Sulaimon earned this week's ACC Rookie of the Week honors after leading the Blue Devils to ACC wins over Virginia Tech and Boston College.

Wake Forest is 12-14 overall and 5-9 in the ACC this season. The Deacons will travel to Florida State to take on the Seminoles on Tuesday with a 9 p.m. tipoff. Wake Forest will be seeking a series sweep of FSU after defeating the Seminoles 71-46 on Feb. 9 in Winston-Salem.
