GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wake Forest redshirt junior guard Keyshawn Woods was one of 30 players named to the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team, the conference announced Wednesday (Feb. 28).

Woods is the Demon Deacons’ second-leading scorer this season, averaging 12.6 points per game. His 15 double-figure games off the bench this season ranks second in program history and he has three 20-point games, highlighted by a career-high 25 points vs. Georgia Southern in the season opener. Woods, who played his freshman season at Charlotte before transferring to Wake Forest, scored his 1,000th point of his two-school career in Saturday’s game against Notre Dame.

Woods, who is set to graduate this spring with a degree in Communication, becomes the 23rd Demon Deacon to receive the honor. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

The Demon Deacons conclude the regular season Saturday with a trip to Georgia Tech. The game will tipoff at noon and air on ACC Network affiliates.
