To Demon Deacon Fans:

As my career at Wake Forest comes to a close, I wanted to praise you, the fans, and the University community for your support and encouragement over the past four years. As I write this letter I cannot help but to reflect on my time here, which has been filled with many emotions, memories and experiences--all of which I have learned from and grown from.

I have you, the fans, to be thankful for. Your endless support and generosity gave me the courage to never give up.

Over the past four years I have had the opportunity to see my life through the eyes of others. The fact that my true character has been acknowledged throughout my career really says it all about the Wake Forest community. These are the types of compliments that outweigh and mean more than any athletic accolade.

As I glanced over your shoulders to see the person who I am through your eyes, there have been many highs and lows, and all are now combined simultaneously as I see the end of this journey. We have traveled this road together, and I do not take for granted, nor do I underestimate, the love and the friendships that have formed over the past four years.

One can easily find pieces of himself in the words of others. I have been blessed to find those pieces in the words of the Wake Forest community. Every tweet, every handshake, every supportive notion given to me has been greatly appreciated. You have made a tremendous impact on the rest of my life.

Thank you so much for the kind words and love that you have shown me and my family over the past four years. That is more precious to me than any victory on the court, as your words have truly help define who I am today.

While I am sad that my career at Wake Forest has come to an end, I see nothing but a bright future for the Deacs. I know that I have helped lay the foundation for this program to achieve the success we can all be proud of. My teammates and the coaching staff are working hard to get there, and they deserve your continued support and enthusiasm.

Thank you again for making these past four years truly special.

Always a Deac!
