April 27, 2016

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Sparta Software Corporation recently extended its partnership with Wake Forest Men’s Basketball for the 2016-17 season. Leaders in the sports performance field, Sparta’s renewal rate continues to be driven by developing highly valued relationships. Wake Forest signed on for another year of SpartaTrac™ software, which will allow the team to continue their efforts in monitoring player health and maximizing athletic performance.

“The Sparta Science System has had an immediate impact on our program and continues to be a driver in the decision making process. Each player's movement signature is used by our staff to create athlete specific programs designed to mitigate potential injury risks, optimize performance, and increase player availability. The ability to monitor fatigue and quantify specific benchmarks during the return to play process has been an absolute game changer. “ –Ryan Horn, Director of Athletic Performance

“As a program we are in a constant state of becoming. Part of that growth as a staff has been embracing sport science and technology as part of our culture. The Sparta Science platform transforms each player's health and performance data into actionable insight. As a head coach that type of information is invaluable.” –Danny Manning, Wake Forest Basketball Head Coach

Sparta’s Founder/President, Dr. Phil Wagner had this to say about the partnership; “It is ideal partnering with teams who have a genuine interest in maximizing player health. Wake Forest has been consistent in their commitment to using SpartaTrac™ Software and we are excited to continue our relationship with them.”

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sparta Software Corporation has become known for housing its Software Team and Performance Facility under the same roof.
