WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest head basketball coach Danny Manning and his staff cordially invite women from all over the Triad and surrounding areas to join them for the inaugural "Danny Manning Women's Basketball 101 Clinic" on Sunday, Sept. 14, beginning at 5 p.m. at the LJVM Coliseum.

The inaugural event includes:

  • Mix & mingle with other Demon Deacon ladies, including the wives of the basketball coaching staff
  • Special welcome from head basketball coach Danny Manning
  • Instruction on the basic rules and strategies of basketball
  • On-court drills led by the Wake Forest basketball coaching staff
  • Wake Forest gift bag
  • Door prizes
  • Light hors d'oeuvres served at the conclusion of clinic
  • Cash bar with one complimentary drink voucher
  • Group photo with the coaches

    The cost of the clinic is $40 per person.* Faculty & staff from Wake Forest University and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center are eligible for a discounted rate of $30 per person.

    Proceeds from the clinic benefit the Wake Forest Baptist Health Brenner Children's Hospital and Christmas shopping for families in need.

    The deadline to register for the event is Friday, Sept. 12. Reservations are limited to the first 250 women, so sign up today!
