WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Fresh off a season-opening win over Loyola (Md.) last weekend, Wake Forest will look to keep it rolling as the Demon Deacons host the Georgia Southern Eagles on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

How to Catch the Game
• Wednesday's game will be broadcast on the ACC's network of regional partners, as well as online at Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Mike Gminski (color) will call the action. The game will air locally on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Carolinas.
• The game can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG College Sports Network and online at Voice of the Deacons Stan Cotten (play-by-play) and Mark Freidinger (color) have the call.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest opened the season with a 75-63 defeat of Loyola (Md.) last Friday in Winston-Salem.
C.J. Harris led the Deacons with 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Travis McKie added 19 points and three steals, while Carson Desrosiers fell just shy of a triple-double with eight points, 10 rebounds and a career-best eight blocks.
• Wake struggled at the free throw line, going 22-for-46 for 47.8 percent. The Deacons shot well from the floor, finishing the night 24-of-49 for 49 percent.

Meet the Eagles
• Georgia Southern is coming off a 90-81 season-opening loss at home to Valpo last Friday.
• Senior point guard Willie Powers III scored 13 points in the loss to become the 38th member of the 1,000-point club at Georgia Southern.
• Head coach Charlton Young, who graduated from GSU in 1994, is in his third season at the helm of the Eagles. Young spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Georgia Tech from 2006-09.
• GSU went 5-27 overall and 1-17 in the Southern Conference last season.
• Following Wednesday's game at Wake Forest, the Eagles will host Webber International on Friday.

Series History
• Wake Forest has won each of its two previous meetings with Georgia Southern, posting wins during the 1978-79 and 1985-86 seasons.
• The Deacons posted a 77-69 win over the Eagles on Feb. 15, 1979, and then a 64-61 victory on Dec. 17, 1985. Both games were played in at the old Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.
