WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 20-ranked Wake Forest returns to action against in-state rival UNC Wilmington on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Joel Coliseum. The game will be shown live on ACC Select and will be available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 94-48 season-opening rout of North Carolina Central last week in Winston-Salem. Freshman Al-Farouq Aminu led the Deacs with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Four others joined Aminu in double figures as Wake rolled to victory.

James Johnson turned in a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Jeff Teague added 14 points and six assists. Chas McFarland and Tony Woods scored 12 points apiece.

UNC Wilmington comes to town sporting a 2-0 mark on the young season. The Seahawks have scored at will in their home wins over Appalachian State and Troy. UNCW opened the year with a 108-101 defeat of ASU and then beat Troy, 107-95, on Monday.

Wake Forest has won all 10 previous meetings with UNCW. The two teams have not met since the 2001-02 season opener, which was former head coach Skip Prosser's first game at Wake Forest.

Quickie Notes
- The Deacons moved up one spot in the AP Poll to No. 20 and dropped a spot to No. 25 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll this week.
- Al-Farouq Aminu and James Johnson became the first Deacon duo to turn in double-doubles in the same game since L.D. Williams and Kyle Visser accomplished the feat together on March 3, 2007, vs. Virginia.
- Wake has won 45 straight home games against non-conference in-state opponents, which includes a perfect 38-0 mark at Joel Coliseum.
