• The Deacs have won 13 straight games against in-state non-conference foes

• The Deacs are 8-3 in non-conference true road games during the Manning era

SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest leads 6-2 (tied 1-1 in Charlotte, first meeting at Halton Arena)
• The Demon Deacons won last year's meeting in Winston-Salem, 91-74, as John Collins had 22 points and 15 rebounds
• The last meeting in Charlotte was a 63-59 victory for the 49ers in 2007-08 in a game played downtown at Charlotte Bobcats Arena (now Spectrum Center)
• Wake Forest's only road win of the series was in 1985-86, a 68-67 victory at the Charlotte Coliseum as Muggsy Bogues had 14 points and seven assists for the Deacs

FORMER 49ERS MAKE RETURN TO CHARLOTTE
• Two Demon Deacons make their return to Charlotte tonight where their collegiate careers began
Keyshawn Woods played one season for the 49ers in 2014-15, averaging 8.4 points and shooting a team-high 46.6 percent from 3-point range as a freshman
Terrence Thompson redshirted as a freshman at Charlotte in 2013-14, before one season at Georgia Highlands and two seasons at Marshall
• It will be Woods' first game at Halton Arena as a visitor, a building where he shot 48.6 percent (17-35) from 3-point range during his one season as a 49er
• Thompson played at Halton Arena each of the last two seasons while at Marshall

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest won its third straight game with an 82-53 victory over Richmond on Saturday
• It was the Deacs' largest margin of victory this season
Keyshawn Woods scored 17 points on 7-11 FG
Doral Moore had 15 points, eight rebounds and tied a career high with four blocks
• The Deacs shot over 50 percent from the floor and over 40 percent from 3-point range for the third consecutive game

ALL-STAR COACHING MATCHUP
• Tonight's game features a matchup of coaches (Danny Manning and Mark Price) who not only both played in the NBA, but were opponents in the 1993 and 1994 NBA All-Star Games
• It marks just the fourth time in college basketball history that a game has featured opposing head coaches who had appeared in the same NBA All-Star Game during their playing career
• Last year's Charlotte at Wake Forest game was the third such meeting
Danny Manning has been involved in three of the four all-time contests, as in 2013-14 his Tulsa squad recorded a 66-65 win over Grand Canyon, led by Dan Majerle, a teammate of Manning's on the West squad in the 1993 All-Star Game
• The other previous game was in 1956 as La Salle (led by Jim Pollard) played West Virginia (led by Fred Schaus), after Pollard and Schaus were teammates on the West team in the first ever NBA All-Star Game in 1951
• Manning played in two NBA All-Star Games (1993, 1994) during his 15-year career, while Price played in four (1989, 1992-94) over his 12-year career

SHARPSHOOTING ON WIN STREAK
• During the current three-game winning streak, the Deacs have been shooting the ball at their highest percentage of the season

• Wake Forest has shot over 50 percent from the floor and over 40 percent from deep in each of the past three games

UP NEXT
• The Deacs return home to host Army West Point on Friday night
• The game will be the last for the Deacs before a 10-day break for exams
• It will be the first all-time meeting between the Demon Deacons and Black Knights
