Ann Flynn is entering her 18th year in the Wake Forest Athletic Department. She currently serves as an academic counselor for the Demon Deacon football team and the Wake Forest cheer and dance squad.

Flynn is responsible for monitoring the academic performance of Wake Forest student-athletes and helping them to fulfill their undergraduate academic requirements. She also coordinates study hall and tutors and aids in the development of time management skills for the student-athletes. She works specifically with the defense.

Prior to to coming to Wake Forest, Flynn was a stay-at-home mother and raised her three sons, Brady, Kenley and Emery before working at Kernersville Elementary as a computer lab instructor and fourth grade teacher's assistant.

Born in Rock Hill, S.C., Flynn grew up in Cary, N.C. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Salem College in Winston-Salem.

Flynn and husband, Bill, reside in Kernersville.
