Received the ACC's Brian Piccolo Award in 2007, given annually to the league's most courageous player ... Came back in 2007 after missing the 2006 season due to a broken kneecap ... Suffered the injury in the 2005 season finale against Miami ... Underwent three surgeries in order to return to action ... Suffered a sprained ankle on his first play from scrimmage while blocking during an Alphonso Smith interception against Boston College (Sept. 1) ... Missed the next three games ...
