Hunter Willard

Hunter Willard spent 10 years in the Wake Forest athletic department, serving as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Academic Counseling. Willard was the academic counselor for the Demon Deacon football team and the Wake Forest women's golf squad. Willard's role involved monitoring the academic performance of student-athletes, helping them to fulfill the undergraduate academic requirements. Her responsibilities also included coordinating study hall and tutors and the development of time management skills for the student-athletes. Willard previously served in the Wake Forest athletic department as an intern with academic services and the CHAMPS program. A 2002 Wake Forest graduate, Willard double-majored in sociology and health & exercise science. She worked as a student trainer for football, men's soccer and women's basketball during her undergraduate days at WFU and was a part of the 1999 Aloha Bowl team. Willard, a Charlotte, N.C., native, received her Master of Arts degree in counseling from Wake Forest in 2010. |
