Enters the fall as the top candidate for placekicking duties... a left-footer who made several big kicks for the Deacons last year... seemed to get "over the hump" of lacking game experience last year and settled into being a solid game kicker... coaches would like more consistency from him in putting the ball in the end zone on kickoffs.

Shared placekicking duties with Plackemeier during the season... was the starting placekicker in seven games but saw action in every game handling kickoffs... was 3-of-5 in field goals and 25-of-27 in extra points... scored 34 points on the season -- third-highest on the team... pulled out of the Boston College game after missing his first PAT attempt... did not attempt a field goal until the eighth game of the season at FSU... made his first two attempts -- a 32-yarder in Tallahassee and 37-yarder versus Clemson... had two field goals and a PAT blocked at North Carolina... made a career-long 44-yard field goal versus Connecticut.

Finished the season as the team's leading scorer with 84 points, the most points in a single season since 1971 and third-best season total in school history... went 17-of-25 in field goals (68 percent) with a long field goal of 43 yards... went 33-of-36 in extra-point attempts... handled kickoffs, putting 24 of 71 into the endzone... ranked fifth in the ACC and 87th nationally in scoring (6.5 ppg)... ranked fourth in the league and 26th nationally in field goals per game (1.3)... got off to a rough start in his collegiate debut, missing a 31-yarder and having a 48-yard attempt blocked at Northern Illinois... made 2-of-3 field goal attempts versus East Carolina, hitting from 36 and 27 yards... struggled again at NC State, missing a PAT and a 44-yard field goal... made a 41-yarder against Purdue... was 2-for-2 in field goals against Virginia, with kicks of 29 and 30 yards... was also 4-of-4 on PATs... was 3-for-4 in field goals at Georgia Tech, with kicks of 29, 23 and 37 yards... booted a field goal for 29 yards and was 3-of-4 in PATs against Duke... was 3-3 in field goals at Clemson, with kicks of 28, 40 and 26... kicked a 30-yarder against UNC ... missed two field goals and had one attempt blocked in the loss to Florida State... booted three field goals against Navy, earning ACC Specialist of the Week honors... attempted just one field goal in the Seattle Bowl, making good on a career-long 43-yarder.
