Wake Forest Head Coach Jim Grobe

On the win...
"It's good to bounce back and play hard after last week. Our kids played pretty hard last week and just got beat by a really good team, so you wonder as a coach how they'll do coming back. I thought we had great energy tonight. I thought our kids played hard for four quarters. I was really happy with the effort on both sides of the ball. We didn't do everything right, but we sure played hard."

On Michael Campanaro's impact...
"I think Campanaro is a good player. He makes a lot of plays for us, but I think that more than anything, the other 10 guys just feel good when he's on the field. When he's out there, there's just a feeling that something good can happen all the time, and I think he gives some more confidence to the other receivers."

On the injuries and defensive effort...
"We had some guys banged up today, but with Nikita (Whitlock) it's tough. He's got turf toe, and for a tough guy it's kind of embarrassing when you say your toe is sore. If you've ever had one, it's really tough to play on that. I was proud of him and the toughness he showed. We had a chance to play Tylor Harris tonight and I think he was big. I don't know if Nikita (Whitlock) could have gone four quarters tonight. I thought Zach Thompson did some good things tonight. He was pressing the pocket. So I was just really pleased with the defensive effort. The turnovers that we forced were big. Of course, the fourth down plays were huge tonight. I'm really proud of the defensive side of the ball."

On the passing game...
"As the game went on, we talked on the headset that we needed to get vertical. We had a lot of success. We had a couple of routes that were wide open deep, and Tanner (Price) didn't find them. We wanted to get the ball down the field, but the coverage just gave us some more short throws. For us, that's kind of our running game if we're able to throw controlled passes. So I'm not really comfortable throwing the ball 60 times, but you just have to do what you've got to do to win."

Boston College Head Coach Frank Spaziani

Opening statement...
"First of all, congratulations to Wake Forest. They won the ball game; they outplayed us. We had entirely too many turnovers for who we are to get it done. I think we had three interceptions and a fumble and 16 yards rushing or whatever it was; we just didn't make enough plays on both sides of the ball. A few of the plays in the first half were plays that ... one of them we knew was coming."

On quarterback Chase Rettig...
"He did make some plays but I think there was too much pressure on him. Once again his performance, he would be the first person to tell you, needs to be better. But we've got to help him a little bit more. We made it a little bit too rough on him and guys are human too."

On losing running back Andre Williams to injury...
"(David) Dudek made some good cuts ... we're not running the ball well. It's not totally the running back."

On not converting fourth downs...
"We tried to make a play early to get ourselves some momentum. On the goal line, I felt we had the right play but we just had poor execution also, that's what it looked like on the field."

On playing from behind...
"Our guys were fighting but there was still something a little missing there. We got the interception and I think it's 21-14 and we get a penalty on the interception ... and we miss the field goal. We're just not able to come out of those things. We have to do better and come out with points over there and feel good about ourselves and then they go out there and score."

Senior Fullback Tommy Bohanon

On the short-yardage passing game...
"I think we do a good job of running the bubbles and other plays like that, and it's just another thing that we can do to essentially be a running team. We can get the ball out on the edge a little bit and it's basically just another run."

On the impact of today's win...
"This was a big game for us, and we took it seriously as a team. We knew that this was the one that we had to get in order to get back on track and be in contention to become bowl eligible."

On the chemistry between Tanner Price and Michael Campanaro...
"We definitely expect that every time that Camp is out on the field. He's going to be able to get open and Tanner is going to see that and be able to throw it to him. We expect him to get open and get some balls thrown to him every time that he's out on the field."

Junior Defensive End Zach Thompson

On Coach Faircloth...
"He's a guy that we all want to play for. It was such a special day for him, and it just made us want to play even harder."

On the sack, fumble and fumble recovery...
"The defense needed a big play, and I just happened to be there and fall on it. The coverage was great. He was holding the ball and it was out there, so I just stuck my hand out and tried to get my hand on it."

On the resolve shown by the team...
"I think that the guys on the defense are really close. All week we've just practiced our schemes and we were just ready for this game. It put us in a good spot for a bowl moving forward."
