With the Loss...
- Wake Forest falls to 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the ACC.

Riley Skinner Continues to Shine for Deacons
- QB Riley Skinner started his 33rd straight contest despite suffering a mild concussion last week vs. Miami. Skinner completed 26 of 40 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
- Skinner moved into sixth place on the ACC career passing yards list, passing Duke's Spence Fischer (1992-96). Skinner has 9,163 career passing yards.
- Skinner had his 22nd career 200-yard passing game, tying the school record first set by Brian Kuklick from 1994-98.
- Skinner threw his 19th and 20th TD passes of the season. He is one shy of the school record of 21, set by Jay Venuto in 1980.
- Skinner made his fourth reception of the season, albeit this one was the first he caught from himself. His pass intended for Josh Adams was deflected into the air by a defender, and Skinner caught the ball for a two-yard loss.
- Skinner moved into ninth place on the ACC's career total offense list. Skinner has 9,293 yards of total offense for his career, putting him three yards back of eighth place which is held by Georgia Tech's Shawn Jones (1989-92).
- Wake Forest lost for just the fifth time in Skinner's career when he did not throw an interception. The Deacons are now 21-5 all-time when Skinner does not throw a pick. It was the second time this season Wake has lost when that has occurred.

- The Deacons fell in overtime for the second time this season after suffering a 27-24 defeat in one overtime at Boston College on Sept. 26.
- The Deacons have played two overtime games in the same season for the first time since 2004. That year, Wake fell in two OTs at Clemson and in one OT at NC State.

Harris, Wilber Return From Injury
- TB Kevin Harris and DE Kyle Wilber both returned to the field after missing extensive time due to injury. Harris mad missed the previous six games, while Wilber had missed the previous seven contests.
