WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker completed 15 of his 17 passes and threw for two touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 30-10 win over Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon at BB&T Field.

Wake Forest drops to 2-9 on the season and closes Atlantic Coast Conference play with a 1-7 mark. The Tigers clinch bowl eligibility with the win, improving to 6-5 and 4-4 in league play.

Clemson scored the first 23 points of the contest before Wake Forest got on the board midway in the fourth quarter on a 45-yard field goal by Jimmy Newman. Clemson made the score 30-3 on a 63-yard touchdown scamper by Jamie Harris, before Josh Harris closed the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run to make the final score 30-10.

Parker had a nearly perfect day passing, finishing the game 15-of-17 for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Harper found the endzone once, rushing the ball 24 times for 142 yards. Jaron Brown and DeAndre Hopkins each had receiving touchdowns. Brown finished with five catches for 93 yards, while Hopkins made five receptions for 36 yards.

Josh Harris scored his sixth rushing touchdown of the season for Wake Forest, carrying the ball nine times for 38 yards. Marshall Williams made four catches for 48 yards to lead the Demon Deacon receivers. Wake Forest quarterback Tanner Price threw for 151 yards on 17-of-30 passing.

Daniel Mack had an interception for the second-straight home game and made a career-high eight tackles to lead the Wake Forest defense.

Wake Forest closes the regular season next week at Vanderbilt. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised by Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast.

The Tigers drove 39 yards on nine plays on the first sequence of the game, culminating in a 43-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro.

Clemson 6, Wake Forest 0 (8:06, 2nd quarter)
Clemson pushed its lead to 6-0 midway through the second quarter. The Tigers got deep into Wake Forest territory by virtue of a 39-yard screen pass from Kyle Parker to Jaron Brown, but were stopped on third down and two at the 5-yard line, leading to a 22-yard field goal by Catanzaro.

Clemson's two-minute offense generated its first touchdown of the game right before halftime. The Tigers went 56 yards in 39 seconds, capped off by a 40-yard touchdown pass from Parker to Brown to push Clemson's lead to 13-0.

The Tigers pushed their lead to 20-0 stringing together an 11-play drive that went 64 yards. Parker found DeAndre Hopkins open in the end zone for a 2-yard touchdown pass to end the drive.

Clemson tacked on another score to start the fourth quarter as Catanzaro drilled a 32-yard field goal after an eight-play drive to make the score 23-0.

Clemson 23, Wake Forest 3 (8:38, 4th quarter)
Wake Forest got on the board in the fourth quarter. Tanner Price hooked up with Marshall Williams on a 22-yard pass to bring the ball deep into Clemson territory and Jimmy Newman connected on a 45-yard field goal to give the Deacons their first points of the game.

The Tigers answered back on their first play of the next drive as Jamie Harper broke three tackles and scampered 63 yards for a Clemson touchdown.

The Deacons responded with their first touchdown of the game to make the score 30-10. Price found a wide open Cameron Ford who rumbled for 34 yards to the Tigers' 1-yard line. On the next play, Josh Harris dove into the end zone for the Wake Forest score.
