Wake Forest Football Spring Game Slated for Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest's annual football Spring Game is slated for Saturday, April 7 at 3 pm at BB&T Field. The 2018 Spring Game is presented by Wake Forest Baptist Health. The game is free and open to the public.

Gate 1 at BB&T Field will open for fans at 2:00 pm. Parking is free and fans are encouraged to use the Gold, Blue and Red lots for the event. The first 500 fans will receive a voucher good free admission to the Wake Forest baseball games against Duke scheduled for Sunday or Monday.

Following the scrimmage, fans will be allowed on the field to meet the team and coaches and collect autographs. Fans are encouraged to take photos of their favorite players following the scrimmage. Photos and video of the actual scrimmage is strictly prohibited.

Wake Forest Athletics Marketing will have free promotional items available inside Gate 1 including the 2018 football poster. Wake Forest Baptist Health will have giveaways and fans will be able to learn more about ticket plans for the upcoming season. Tailgate Guys and the Deacon Shop will also be set up at Gate 1.

Concession stands will be open on the West Side Concourse and a free Kids Zone will be available (weather permitting) between Section 10 and the videoboard.

During the break following the first quarter, Belk will make a presentation as part of its Project Hometown initiative to Project H. O. P. E. (Help Our People Eat) of Winston-Salem, an organization whose mission is to use community-wide volunteer support to prepare and bring nutritious weekend meals to Forsyth County's 40,000 children who are at risk for hunger.

At halftime, many former Deacon players will be recognized and any players who have not yet registered should do so by contacting the Deacon Club at (336) 758-2588.



The Deacons open the home portion of the regular season, the 50th anniversary of the opening of BB&T Field, on Saturday, September 8 vs. Towson in the first of a five-game homestand.
