WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest football team will hold its annual Spring Scrimmage on Saturday, April 18 at 12:00 p.m. at the Doc Martin Football Practice Complex on the Wake Forest University campus. Admission is free. The scrimmage highlights a day full of interactive activities designed to give Wake Forest fans an up close look at the Demon Deacon football program. Fans will be able to hear the team and the coaches while soaking up the true feeling of the game with this unique experience. It will be an entire afternoon of fun with inflatable games, food, and meeting up with friends. Fans are encouraged to bring the kids out and enjoy all the festivities. At 11:00 a.m. there will be concession options for fans provided by Mountain Fried Chicken and Papa John's. At 11:30 a.m., the football team will warm-up and hold agility drills. The scrimmage will begin at 12:00 p.m. Limited seating is available on temporary bleachers and there will be space available for chairs and blankets but please note that seating space is limited. Parking will be available throughout the Wake Forest campus. With many campus activities taking place on April 18th, fans are encouraged to arrive early to have access to the best parking available. Directions to the Wake Forest Football 2009 Spring Football Scrimmage From Lawrence Joel Coliseum, take University Pkwy about one mile and make a left into Wake Forest University. Once on campus make a left at the stoplight. Go past the football practice fields on the left and parking will be available in the lots behind the practice fields. Signs will also be located throughout campus to provide additional assistance.
