CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Wake Forest head football coach Dave Clawson, tight end Cam Serigne and defensive lineman Wendell Dunn met with local and national media Thursday (July 13), as the league kicked off the 2017 ACC Football Kickoff at the Westin Hotel in downtown Charlotte.

The Demon Deacons and the rest of the Atlantic Division began two-day event on Thursday, with the Coastal Division set to close the festivities on Friday.

Throughout the course of the day the trio of Demon Deacons talked with journalists, radio shows and networks including ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, and the ACC Network.

"It was a great experience for us and it was really cool to be here with all of the other teams from the Atlantic Division and the players we go against every week," said Serigne. "I was very blessed to be here."

"It was a wonderful experience, getting to meet these different media members and hearing the questions they ask. It was something that I am very grateful for," added Dunn.

For Serigne, the annual kickoff also reminded the redshirt senior tight end that the season is just around the corner.

"For us, it was a chance to kick off 2017 and get our mindset in a position where we put the success of last year behind us and move forward to the upcoming season.

The ACC's preseason festivities continue on Monday, July 17 as the 2017 Preseason Media Poll will be announced, followed by Wednesday's announcement of the 2017 Preseason All-ACC Team.
