Today was an exact copy of yesterday. I think when the alarm when off the same song was playing that was on yesterday. We had the same exact meeting schedule and practice schedule, so "Groundhog Day" is now in full effect. Practice went much more smoothly today then it did yesterday. I think this is a direct result of the entire team voluntarily participating in pass skeleton four days a week during the summer. The skill players made a big jump from yesterday. There were far less balls on the ground. Our skill players could be the difference this season. The offensive line looked sharp but it's hard to tell until we start hitting next week. No matter how hard summer camp gets it is always worth it in the end. I've had four head coaches in my college career and I've heard more then once how they think this is the hardest working team they have ever coached. But when Coach Grobe said that to us before camp this year I know he wasn't just saying that to us like the other coaches. More importantly I believe that players on the team believe this. During second summer session players were working out three to four hours a day. Some players actually worked out twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I feel like guys on the team know how close we were to having a great season last year and that this extra work will be what allows us to have a great season this year. The goal isn't to win just enough games to be bowl eligible, the goal is to win the ACC and every game on the schedule. If you say that to someone around here some give you a crazy look. I can't wait to see the look on those peoples' faces after this season is over.
