Schedule Announced for the Jim Grobe Show

Aug. 12, 2008

ISP Sports, the multimedia rights holder for Wake Forest athletics, has announced the schedule for the 2008 "Jim Grobe Show" sponsored by BB&T which will air fourteen times over the Wake Forest ISP Sports Network. The audio will also be streamed over as part of Wake Forest All-Access. Stan Cotten will begin his 13th season as the "Voice of the Demon Deacons" and will host the weekly radio program along with head football coach Jim Grobe.

The first show will air Tuesday night, August 26th, just a day before the Deacons leave Winston-Salem for Waco, Texas, for the August 28th season opener at Baylor. The show will run for thirteen consecutive weeks before skipping the week of Thanksgiving and concluding on Thursday, December 4th. The show will generally air each Thursday night with the exceptions of the first show, another Tuesday date on October 7th prior to the Thursday night Clemson game and Wednesday night, November 5th, so as not to conflict with a men's basketball exhibition game the following night.

The location of both the "Jim Grobe Show" and the "Dino Gaudio Show" will change for the upcoming season. The programs will now originate from ISP's year old corporate headquarters and recently finished state of the art "Showcase Studios" along Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem.

The program will air locally in the Winston-Salem market on flagship station WBRF-FM 98.1.
