WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest wide receiver Greg Dortch on Monday was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.

Dortch, a 5-9, 165-pound redshirt freshman from Richmond, Va. (Highland Springs) caught a career-high 10 passes for 110 yards against Florida State on Sept. 30. Seven of his 10 receptions were for first downs. Dortch added four carries for seven yards, four punt returns for 48 yards including a 29-yard return, and two kickoff returns for 31 yards. Dortch finished the day with 20 touches for 196 all-purpose yards.

His 196 yards of total offense were the most by a Demon Deacon since Michael Campanaro had 196 yards against Army West Point in 2012.

Dortch is the third Deacon to be honored with an ACC Player of the Week award this season following Essang Bassey (Sept. 11) and Cameron Glenn (Sept. 18) who each earned Defensive Back of the Week honors.

In addition, Dortch was named the ACC Offensive Rookie of the Week by Athlon Sports on Sunday.
