Wake Forest Storylines
• For the second consecutive week, the Demon Deacons had a chance to tie the game on their final possession, but an interception in the end zone ended the rally in a 24-16 loss to No. 11/9 Florida State. Wake Forest out-gained the Seminoles on the ground and through the air, but again failed to register a turnover.
• Wake Forest totaled 27 first downs against the Seminoles, more than the Deacs had in the previous three meetings against FSU combined.

• Wake Forest is 39th in the country in scoring defense, allowing just 20.4 points per game, and 15th in passing defense.
