WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's golfer Will Zalatoris was named to the Golfweek All-America third team.

Zalatoris has collected many awards after a stellar freshman season. He was also named to the 2015 PING Division I All-East Region team as selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Zalatoris led Wake Forest with a 70.07 stroke average this season to go along with five top-10 finishes and one victory. He was named the ACC Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-ACC team. His stroke average of 70.07 is the second lowest in a single season at Wake Forest behind Bill Haas' mark of 68.93 in 2003-04. Zalatoris finished under par in all but one tournament this season and finished the season ranked No. 20 individually by Golfstat.com.

Zalatoris is the first Demon Deacon to earn third team All-America honors since Brendan Gielow in 2010. Lee Bedford (2011) and Evan Beck (2011 and 2013) were both named to the honorable mention team.
