GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of Wake Forest men’s golfers were named to the 2018 All-ACC Academic Men’s Golf Team on Thursday (June 21). Junior Cameron Young and sophomore Eric Bae each were honored by the league for the second consecutive year.

Young was an All-ACC selection after leading the Demon Deacons with a 70.11 stroke average, the third-best in program history. He had four top-5 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Stitch Intercollegiate. For the season, 22 of his 27 rounds were at par or better.

Bae had a 72.69 stroke average during the 2017-18 season, where he posted 18 rounds of par or better. His final-round 64 at the Stitch Intercollegiate was the low round of the season for the Demon Deacons as he had a career-best runner-up finish.

In addition to on-course success, to be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic team, a student-athlete, regardless of classification, must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
