Zalatoris Named to GCAA All-Freshmen Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's golfer Will Zalatoris is one of five freshmen golfers from around the country to be named to the Division I All-Freshmen Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Zalatoris has collected many awards after a stellar freshman season. He was also named to the Golfweek All-America third team and 2015 PING Division I All-East Region team as selected by the GCAA.

Zalatoris led Wake Forest with a 70.07 stroke average this season to go along with five top-10 finishes and one victory. He was named the ACC Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-ACC team. His stroke average of 70.07 is the second lowest in a single season at Wake Forest behind Bill Haas' mark of 68.93 in 2003-04.
