IN 2006: Played every minute in net of all 25 contests, posting 69 consecutive starts... finished 2006 with a 0.72 GA average... recorded 90 saves... posted 13 shutouts, a WFU season record... set WFU career shutout record in season opener vs. Central Florida, ended 2006 with a career total of 31 shutouts... posted ACC shutouts against UNC, NC State and Clemson... set all time WFU record for minutes played in goal (6463)... recorded season high 8 saves vs. Virginia (10/27/06) in ACC semifinals... ranks fourth in WFU career saves (216)... In 2005: Started all 23 games for the Demon Deacons extending his streak to 44 consecutive starts... posted a 0.98 goals against average and made 77 saves... finished second in the ACC in saves... tied a school record with nine shutouts (ranked second in the ACC) for the second straight year... his 18 career shutouts rank second best in school history, trailing only Mike McGinty's 18.5... one of two goalkeepers in school history to post a career goals against average below 1.00 -- his 0.97 GAA trails only William Hesmer (0.65)... blanked Notre Dame, South Carolina (twice), St. Joseph's, Florida Atlantic, Alabama A&M, Clemson, UNCG and Boston College... tied a career-high with nine saves in consecutive matches in the NCAA Tournament against Old Dominion on Nov. 22 and Cal on Nov. 24... also recorded eight saves in an overtime loss to Duke on Sept. 18... named to the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic All-Tournament team... selected to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Year (4th).

In 2004: Started all 21 games for the Demon Deacons and logged every single minute in net... posted a 0.96 goals against average in 1,968:31 time on the field... recorded a new school record of 9.0 shutouts in a single-season... blanked Ohio State, VCU, NC State, Elon, Clemson, Virginia Tech (twice), North Carolina and UCF... registered four consecutive shutouts and did not allow a goal for a span of 499:34... earned Freshman All-American second team honors from Top Drawer Soccer.

In 2003: Did not see any action behind All-American Will Hesmer.

Prep: Named All-State, All-Region and All-Conference in 2002 at Providence High School in Charlotte under coach Bob Bowen... led the Panthers to a North Carolina 4A State Championship in 2000 and conference championships in 2000 and 2002... a member of the Charlotte Soccer Club and the 84 Blue team from 2000-03... coached by Sean Bubb and Scott Schweitzer... father, Mark, was a goalkeeper at Lafayette College.

Personal: A communication major... chose Wake Forest over UNCG, South Carolina, East Carolina and UNC Wilmington... born Oct. 6, 1984 in Summit, N.J. ... the son of Mark & Kathy Edwards.
