Wake Forest defeated Clemson 3-1 in Charleston, S.C., on Sunday, Nov. 13, to claim the 2016 ACC Tournament title.

Michael White is in his sixth year with Wake Forest University. He serves as the primary athletic trainer for the men's soccer team.

Prior to coming to Wake Forest, Michael served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Soccer U-17 National Team, at Nick Bolliterri/IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla. During his six and a half year tenure with the U.S. Soccer Federation, he also worked with the men's U-20 and full National teams.

Michael graduated from Western Illinois University with a double emphasis in Athletic Training and Corporate Fitness and a minor in Psychology. He also served as a Combat Medic and Non-commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1990 to 1998.

Michael is a native of Quincy, Illinois, he currently resides in Winston-Salem.
