Parkhurst on World Cup Qualifying Roster against Honduras

By Steven Wright, Wake Forest Athletic Communications (@WakeMensSoccer) WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Former Demon Deacon Michael Parkhurst has been called into training camp to prepare for the U.S. Men's National Team's opening match against Honduras in the Final Round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6, at 4 p.m. ET in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The match will be broadcast live on beIN SPORT, and you can follow the match live on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker and via Twitter @ussoccer. Parkhurst has three World Cup qualifying caps to his name already and 15 total for the U.S. Men's National Team. After playing in the Champion's League for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark this summer, Parkhurst has moved on and is now playing for Augsburg in the German Bundesliga.
