Spring Schedule Update

By Steven Wright, Wake Forest Athletic Communications (@WakeMensSoccer) WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's soccer coach Jay Vidovich has announced his team's six-game spring schedule that is set to begin on March 9 against the Carolina Railhawks. The Railhawks are a professional soccer team that competes in the North American Soccer League. Wake Forest will head to Raleigh to take on the Railhawks on March 9 at 12 p.m. on Field 6 at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Railhawks feature former Deacons Akira Fitzgerald, Zack Schilawski and Austin da Luz. The Demon Deacons' second game of the spring season will also be against a professional soccer team, as the team will play the Charlotte Eagles who compete in the USL Professional Division. That match is scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 28 at Spry Stadium. Wake Forest will remain at home to take on VCU on April 6 at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium before playing a doubleheader on April 13. The Deacs will first take on Mars Hill at Spry Stadium at 12 p.m. before heading to Bryan Park in Greensboro to play against ACC-foe Virginia at 7 p.m. The Demon Deacons will then wrap up the spring schedule at home against North Carolina on April 20 at 7 p.m. Complete Spring Schedule
