Deacs Host Appalachian State
• Wake Forest will play its third consecutive home game on Tuesday night when it hosts Appalachian State at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
• The Demon Deacons are 4-1-0 in non-conference games this season and are 4-0-1 at home.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest dominated much of Friday night's game with Duke, outshooting the Blue Devils 17-7 and taking 12 corners compared to just two, but played to a 0-0 draw.
• The Demon Deacons have now tied all three of their ACC games.
Michael Lisch earned his fourth shutout of the year and made four saves in the tie.

Tuesday's Opponent
• Appalachian State has not played since Sept. 16 and enters Tuesday's game with a 4-2-1 overall record.
• David Dodge is the only Mountaineer to have scored multiple goals so far with two, while goalkeeper Danny Free has posted four shutouts and 14 saves.

Series History
• Wake Forest has dominated the all-time series with Appalachian State 18-2-0 since 1983.
• The Demon Deacons have also won 16 consecutive meetings. The Mountaineers last won on Oct. 30, 1986, 1-0 in overtime.

Next Up
• Wake Forest will play its next two games on the road, traveling to Virginia Tech on Friday at 7 p.m. and Davidson on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
