Deacs Host Appalachian State
Wake Forest will play its third consecutive home game on Tuesday night when it hosts Appalachian State at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
The Demon Deacons are 4-1-0 in non-conference games this season and are 4-0-1 at home.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest dominated much of Friday night's game with Duke, outshooting the Blue Devils 17-7 and taking 12 corners compared to just two, but played to a 0-0 draw.
The Demon Deacons have now tied all three of their ACC games.
Michael Lisch earned his fourth shutout of the year and made four saves in the tie.
Appalachian State has not played since Sept. 16 and enters Tuesday's game with a 4-2-1 overall record.
David Dodge is the only Mountaineer to have scored multiple goals so far with two, while goalkeeper Danny Free has posted four shutouts and 14 saves.
Wake Forest has dominated the all-time series with Appalachian State 18-2-0 since 1983.
The Demon Deacons have also won 16 consecutive meetings. The Mountaineers last won on Oct. 30, 1986, 1-0 in overtime.
Wake Forest will play its next two games on the road, traveling to Virginia Tech on Friday at 7 p.m. and Davidson on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
