Deacs Travel to Virginia Tech
• Wake Forest will travel to play ACC foe Virginia Tech on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Thompson Field in Blacksburg, Va.
• The Demon Deacon are undefeated in ACC play so far this season but will be looking for their first win (0-0-3).

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest earned its fifth shutout of the season on Tuesday night in a 4-0 win over Appalachian State at Spry Stadium.
Michael Lisch has earned all five of those shutouts in goal, and now has 10 for his career.
Sean Okoli, Jared Watts, Collin Martin and Jake Schemper all scored in the victory, while Watts also provided an assist for his first-career three-point game.

Friday's Opponent
• Virginia Tech has posted a 4-3-1 overall record and an 0-2-1 record in conference play.
• The Hokies are led on offense by David Clemens who has scored five goals on the year, including his first-career hat trick against VMI on Tuesday night in a 3-1 win.

• Wake Forest has been impressive in the all-time series, owning a 14-2-2 all-time record against Virginia Tech. The Deacs are also 5-1-2 in Blacksburg.
• The Demon Deacons have not lost to the Hokies in 12 straight meetings (11-0-1), as Virginia Tech last defeated Wake Forest 2-0 on Sept. 7, 1997.
