Wake Forest Welcomes Akron on Tuesday >>
• Wake Forest returns back home to Spry Stadium on Tuesday night to host the Akron Zips for a 7 p.m. game. The first 500 fans will receive white t-shirts to `White Out' Spry Stadium.

Tane Gent put Wake Forest up 1-0 early in the first half but Wake Forest fell 3-1 as Clemson scored three unanswered to defeat the Demon Deacons on Friday night.
• Wake Forest led 1-0 but Clemson (5-4-0, 2-1-0 ACC) scored midway through the first half to even the game going into halftime. The Tigers then scored in the first 10 minutes of the second half and added a late goal en route to the win.
Hayden Partain and Michael Gamble assisted on Gent's goal, giving Gamble his 10th point of the week after he scored four goals and had an assist on Tuesday against VMI. The junior also had six shots and played all 90 minutes of the gam

• Wake Forest enters Tuesday's game as the top offense in the ACC. The Deacs lead in points per game (6.88), goals per game (2.25), assists per game (2.38), goals (18), assists (19) and shots (152).
Michael Gamble's four goals last week against VMI were the first for a Demon Deacons since 1983 when Mark Erwin had four against Davidson which was the only previous time a Deac has had four in a game. The last Deacon to have three goals was Sean Okoli who had a hat trick against NC State in 2012.
• Four Deacons have two goals each - Tane Gent, Hank Gauger, Hayden Partain and Ricky Greensfelder.

• Wake Forest and Akron will meet for the seventh time. Akron leads the series 3-2-1 although the two teams have split at Wake Forest.
• The Zips defeated Wake Forest 1-0 last year in Akron.
