GREENSBORO, N.C. - After being named ACC Co-Player of the Week a day ago, sophomore Sean Okoli has also been named the Disney Soccer/NSCAA Player of the Week, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Wednesday afternoon.

Okoli, who came to Wake Forest from Federal Way, Wash., scored his first-career hat trick against ACC-foe NC State on Friday night. The game also marked the first time of his career that he has scored more than one goal in a game.

The hat trick was the sixth by an ACC player this season as well as the second by a Wake Forest player. Junior Luca Gimenez scored his first collegiate hat trick at Virginia Tech in a 4-0 win on September 28.

On the season, Okoli now leads the Demon Deacons with a career-best eight goals and 17 points.

As was the case with his ACC Player of the Week award, this is the first time that he has received the NSCAA Player of the Week award.

Okoli will be recognized during Friday's NSCAA College Game of the Week on Fox Soccer.

Wake Forest will be back in action on Saturday when its hosts South Carolina at 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium for Senior Day.
