WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team earned a No. 2-seed for the 2007 NCAA Tournament and will open play in the second round on Wednesday, November 28 at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem.

Other top-seeded teams with a first round bye include Connecticut, Indiana and ACC Champion Boston College.

The tournament kicks off on November 23 with first round competition. The Demon Deacons (17-2-2) will face the winner of the Campbell (15-53) and Furman (18-3-0) matchup.

The Deacs lead the all-time series with the Paladins 8-6-4 and lead Campbell 4-0-0.

The Demon Deacons are making their 12th appearance and seventh consecutive. Last season, Wake defeated Hofstra, Towson and Santa Clara, earning the Demon Deacons' first-ever NCAA semifinal appearance, yet fell to eventual NCAA Champion UC Santa Barbara.
