RICHMOND, Va. - Wake Forest improved to 3-1 with a 4-3 victory over VCU on Sunday afternoon in Richmond.

The Demon Deacons swept the doubles contest but had a close singles matchup with the Rams. Tripper Carleton topped Tim Johannsen 6-4, 7-6 (6) at No. 2, Jonathan Wolff downed Filip Svensson at No. 4 6-1, 6-4 and Zach Leslie topped Camill Salomon at No. 6 6-3, 6-1.

Wake Forest will play its first home match of the season on Saturday, February 20, hosting ETSU at 12 p.m.
