WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team defeated Michigan 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The Demon Deacons dropped the doubles point 2-1. Carlos Salmon and David Hopkins took the solo win at No. 3, topping Chris Madden and Chris Cha 9-8.

Tripper Carleton led the Deacs at No. 1 singles where he posted a 6-2, 6-4 upset over No. 33 Jason Jung.

The Demon Deacons will continue weekend play on Sunday when they host No. 2 Tennessee at 12 p.m. Weather permitting, the match will be played outdoors at Leighton Stadium. Live scoring will be available on WakeForestSports.com.
