TULSA, Okla. - Wake Forest's Adam Lee was victorious in his first match of prequalifying singles at the ITA All-American Championships, defeating eighth-seeded Ben Chen of Texas to advance to Sunday's third round.

Lee had jumped out to a 5-0 lead over Chen before the Longhorn senior retired with an injury. The Wake Forest junior will take on the winner of a second-round match between Blake Robert-Williams (TCU) and Evan Bechtal (SMU) as he attempts to reach the final round of prequalifying.

No. 102 David Hopkins, No. 94 Danny Kreyman and Amogh Prabhakar will all start play in qualifying singles on Monday. 17th-ranked Hopkins and Prabhakar will open main draw doubles action on Thursday, and Lee will partner Kreyman in qualifying doubles, beginning on Monday.
