Deacs Open Play at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – A pair of Demon Deacons dropped their opening-round matchups in pre-qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday.

Sean Hill lost a back-and-forth match against Johan den Toom from Arkansas, 6-3, 7-6 (5).

Charles Parry fell to San Diego State's Sander Gjoels Anderson by a 6-0, 6-2 margin.

Both of them continue play with pre-qualifying consolation action on Sunday.

Alan Gadjiev, Maksim Kan, Christian Seraphim and Dennis Uspensky all begin play in qualifying on Monday, while Petros Chrysochos and Skander Mansouri begin play in the main draw Wednesday.
