Deacs to Play for Four Titles at WFU Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will play for four titles tomorrow at the WFU Fall Invite after another strong performance on the second day of the tournament Saturday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
Tomorrow, Amogh Prabhakar will take on No. 111 Fred Saba of Duke for the A1 Singles title, No. 94 Danny Kreyman will face No. 68 Nelson Vick of North Carolina for the A2 Singles title, Sam Bloom will play Kosta Blank of UNCW in the B Singles final and No. 17 David Hopkins and Prabhakar will match up against Elon's Cameron Silverman and Stefan Fortmann for the A Doubles championship.
Prabhakar posted the best singles win of his career in the semifinals of A1 Singles, outlasting 55th-ranked Rafael Aita of UNCW 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. The senior had beaten Nicky Kunz of Davidson in straight sets in the quarterfinals
Kreyman won a pair of three-set singles matches, topping Kaue Peirera of UNCW 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals before beating Old Dominion's Carlos Lopez 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the semis.
Bloom defeated two in-state ACC foes, taking down NC State's Trey Carter 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the quarterfinals and topping North Carolina's Andrew Gores 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals.
In doubles, Hopkins and Prabhakar ground out a 9-8 (5) decision against Duke's Saba and Dan McCall to reach the A flight championship.
The tournament will wrap up starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow with the final round of doubles followed by the final round of singles.
