Gadjiev Wins Bracket at Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's tennis team wrapped up play at its lone home event of the fall, the Wake Forest Invitational, on Sunday.

Alan Gadjiev highlighted the event for the Demon Deacons, claiming his fourth straight victory to win the A2 singles bracket.

On Sunday, he knocked off Henry Patten of UNC Asheville in three sets, 6-0, 4-6, 6-1, to claim the title.

Wake Forest now turns its sights to the spring season, which begins two months from tomorrow. The Demon Deacons open the spring with a doubleheader on Jan. 14, playing host to North Florida and ETSU.
