Deacs Host ITA Kickoff Weekend
• The No. 1 Wake Forest men’s tennis team welcomes Old Dominion, Portland and Vanderbilt to town for the 2018 ITA Kickoff Weekend, Jan. 26-27.
• The Deacs will face Old Dominion at 5 p.m. on Friday while Portland and Vanderbilt will play at 2 p.m. The respective winners and losers of Friday’s matches will face one another on Saturday.
• The champion of the weekend event will then earn a berth into the 16-team ITA National Team Indoor Championships, held Feb. 16-19 in Seattle.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons opened the 2018 season on Tuesday, Jan. 23, with a 6-1 victory over Coastal Carolina and a 7-0 sweep of Elon.
• A total of six Demon Deacons made their Wake Forest dual debut, including a trio of Decs who were competing in their first-ever match in the Black & Gold.

Seraphim Climbs Career Charts
• Redshirt senior Christian Seraphim is set to become Wake Forest’s all-time leader in career singles and doubles victories.
• The native of Munich, Germany currently has 102 career singles victories, seventh-most in program history. Cory Parr holds the program record with 114 career wins.
• He has also accumulated 99 career doubles victories, second-most in program history. Cory Parr holds the program record with 108 career doubles wins.

Deacs In The Rankings
• The Demon Deacons are ranked No. 1 to begin the season for the first time in program history. The began last year No. 2 in the country before rising to No. 1, the first-ever No. 1 ranking in program history. • Individually, five singles players and two doubles teams are ranked in the latest ITA rankings.
• The singles rankings are highlighted by Petros Chrysochos (No. 4) and Skander Mansouri (No. 15), while the pairing teams up to form the No. 4 doubles team in the country.

Doubles Duo Claim Fall Title
• Competing for the first time ever as doubles partners, Petros Chrysochos and Skander Mansouri claimed the doubles title at the ITA National Fall Championships.
• Unseeded, the duo won a total of five matches, with three victories coming over nationally ranked opponents.

Deacs to Host NCAA Championships
• Wake Forest University has been selected to serve as the host site for the 2018 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships, held May 17-28.
• The Demon Deacs are looking to be the seventh program to NCAA win the title while serving as the finals host.

• The Deacs travel to take on Oklahoma State on Sunday, Feb. 11.
