No. 26 Deacons Host No. 29 Georgia Tech, No. 33 Clemson This Weekend
Intense weekend of home matches awaits Demon Deacons

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team continues conference play this weekend with a pair of home matches. On Saturday the Demon Deacons will host Georgia Tech at 1 p.m. and continue action on Sunday with Clemson at 12 p.m. Admission is free and both matches will be played on campus at Leighton Stadium, weather permitting.

Wake Forest (7-4, 1-0 ACC) hosted NC State on Wednesday to open play in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Demon Deacons topped the Wolfpack 5-2.

Georgia Tech is 10-3 and 1-1 in the ACC with a win over Miami and a loss to Florida State. In the most recent singles poll sophomore Guillermo Gomez was ranked fifth in the nation.

The Clemson Tigers are 15-2 and 1-1, dropping recent matches to Florida A&M and Florida State after opening the season on a 15-match win streak. The Tigers will face NC State on Friday, March 26 before playing the Demon Deacons on Sunday.

Next up for the Deacons is a three-match road swing that includes play at North Carolina, Miami and Florida State.
