For the second-straight year, the Wake Forest men's tennis team is playing host to the first two rounds of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Tournament. The Demon Deacons, the sixth overall seed in the tournament, are joined by 24th-ranked Michigan, 55th-ranked East Tennessee State and Coastal Carolina. To begin the tournament, the Wolverines and Buccaneers will play on Friday at 1 p.m. The Deacs and Chanticleers will follow that contest by playing at 3 p.m. On Saturday, the winners of both matches will meet at 3 p.m. to compete for a spot in the round of 16 at the NCAA Championships, which will take place from May 20-24 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

All NCAA Tournament matches will be regulation dual matches. Three doubles matches consisting of six-game sets will be played for one team point, followed by six singles matches, each valued at one team point; played the best of three sets. No-ad scoring will be used and a seven-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) will be played at six-games-all. The team to win four or more team points will advance in the championship bracket.
